Sorry to bug again, but have you ever thought of bringing handwarmers pouches? You can put them in your boots or your hands and they last 4 to 6 hours. They’d be a lot lighter than the would you bring in too. Be well, and keep warm.

Hello Levi, nice bedock and gold.Try cleaning it in molten sodium hydroxide for a few hours,using a good grade stainless steel vessel on an electric hotplate.Let cool down,dissolve in water using medium heat , rinse with clean water and enjoy looks of bright clean gold, regards George
